Primary Responsibilities include:
Operate Class 1 vehicles including dump trucks, and lowbeds
Haul aggregates, and construction materials
Transport heavy equipment to and from job sites as required
Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Ensure loads are properly secured and delivered safely
Follow all company safety procedures and provincial regulations
Communicate effectively with site supervisors and dispatch
Skills & Requirements:
Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence (BC) with air brake endorsement
Clean driver’s abstract (required)
Minimum 1 year experience as a class 1 truck driver
Experience in civil construction, hauling, or heavy equipment transport preferred
Ability to work in varying weather and job site conditions
Strong commitment to safety and reliability
Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends
Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
