Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with attention to quality, presentation, and food safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic restaurant environment, ensuring guests receive exceptional dining experiences through efficient meal preparation and excellent food service. Morning and evening shifts, pizza and pasta station.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards such as pastas, salads, appetizers and fried dishes.
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Cook a variety of dishes with precision, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures at all times
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests or servers in a timely manner
- Support team members during busy service periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow all sanitation policies and procedures to uphold health standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of Italian food and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
