Overview
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repair, and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake systems, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs efficiently and safely
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Assist with assembly of vehicle components during repairs or upgrades
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures and addressing customer questions professionally
Experience
- Proven experience or extensive mechanic background preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair
- Familiarity with schematics, diagnostic tools, and maintenance procedures
- Experience with welding, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine repair tasks
- Prior experience working with automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
