Overview
We are seeking motivated and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, contributing to meal preparation and food service operations. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food, excellent hygiene practices. Prior restaurant experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. The Kitchen Staff plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Handle food safely and maintain proper food handling procedures at all times
- Support cooking activities, including chopping, mixing, and plating dishes
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Ensure all food is stored properly and inventory is managed efficiently
- Follow health and safety regulations to uphold food safety standards
- Serve food promptly and courteously to customers or dining staff as needed
- Assist with dishwashing and sanitation tasks to ensure a hygienic work environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Mexican restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food safety practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required
- Basic understanding of food industry standards and safety regulations
