Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare and cook special meals for guest and patrons
- Help supervise kitchen helpers
- Help oversee kitchen operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- May clean kitchen and work area
- Help monitoring food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- May train kitchen staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
- Basic understanding of serving, meal preparation, and food industry best practices
