Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues efficiently and effectively.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to execute repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Assemble components as needed during repairs or installations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding vehicle issues and repair options.
- Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with automotive schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Previous mechanic experience is highly desirable, particularly in a dealership setting.
- Excellent customer service skills to enhance client relationships.
