Job Purpose
Deliver an elevated, engaging, and consistent customer experience while supporting store sales, service standards, and daily operations. The Sales Team Lead represents Nest Designs on the sales floor, leads by example, and supports the sales team through real-time coaching, strong product knowledge, and floor leadership.
This role acts as a key support to store leadership, helping ensure brand standards, selling behaviors, and operational excellence are consistently upheld.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)
Customer Experience & Sales Delivery
- Greet and engage customers warmly, authentically, and consistently
- Deliver thoughtful, solution-oriented selling aligned with Nest Designs standards
- Lead by example in customer connection, discovery, and product recommendations
- Drive sales through strong selling behaviors, product knowledge, and add-on selling
- Support store goals including sales, conversion, and average order value (AOV)
- Guide customers through gifting, registry, sleep solutions, and lifestyle needs
- Assist in resolving customer concerns or escalate appropriately
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Support Sales Associates through in-the-moment coaching and feedback
- Reinforce selling skills, service expectations, and brand standards on the floor
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
- Act as a role model for professionalism, reliability, and teamwork
- Communicate observations and opportunities to store leadership
Brand Representation & Product Knowledge
- Consistently represent Nest Designs with care, warmth, and professionalism
- Maintain a strong understanding of all products, fabrics, and collections
- Communicate product features, care, pricing, and availability confidently
- Support brand storytelling through merchandising and customer engagement
Store Operations & Floor Leadership
- Act as Manager-on-Duty (MOD) when required
- Open and close the store following company procedures
- Maintain visual standards, cleanliness, and floor organization
- Support merchandising updates, pricing accuracy, and restocking
- Ensure POS accuracy, cash handling, and loss-prevention standards
- Assist with inventory organization and daily operational tasks
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of retail experience, preferably in specialty or lifestyle retail
- Previous leadership experience (Senior Associate, Key Holder, or similar) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident coaching and supporting peers
- Organized, reliable, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
