Our client is seeking a Senior Document Control Administrator to support document management, records compliance, and data integrity initiatives for major project documentation and site activities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional experienced in engineering records and document control processes.
What’s the Job?
- Support document control activities for project documentation, including new documentation issues and non-compliance fixes.
- Perform vendor documentation cleanup, including extracting files, renaming, and uploading into SmartPlant Foundation (SPF).
- Conduct audits of hardcopy and electronic records, including off-site storage coordination.
- Review and retrieve missing or incomplete documentation from various systems and drives.
- Upload and manage specialty item datasheets and project-related documentation within SPF.
- Support project closeout activities, including drawing reconciliation and documentation completion.
- Assist with internal as-built documentation processes.
- Monitor and manage document control mailboxes, responding to user requests and conducting historical document searches.
- Support additional document control tasks such as scanning, file naming, redline tracking, and issuing transmittals.
- Contribute to shutdown support activities and ensure document accuracy and compliance with standards.
What’s Needed?
- Minimum Grade 12 education, plus 4–5 years of related post-secondary education and/or relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in engineering records or a document control environment.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Initiative and problem-solving skills to manage document discrepancies and requirements effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with SmartPlant Foundation (SPF).
- Familiarity with MicroStation or similar engineering tools.

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
