SUMMARY
Reporting to the Vice President, IT, the Senior IT Project Manager will act as the primary focal point for all project management areas that encompass and are not limited to, communications, scheduling, cross-team resource allocation, and coordination of team interaction.
PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE
- Manage multiple inter-dependent projects/programs using waterfall, agile, and/or hybrid methodologies.
- Coordinate numerous project teams and effectively conduct the initiative to meet overall objectives.
- Support the development of detailed business requirements and be responsible to develop detailed project plans in addition to leading the execution of several medium to large projects simultaneously, to implement solutions in support of these requirements.
- Work closely with Business Unit Subject Matter Experts and other Project Managers and Systems Analysts to ensure that requirements are feasible, meet the business needs, align with company strategy.
- Complete project deliverables within scope, schedule, costs and quality constraints.
- Facilitate workshops and business interactions as well as capture and track action items.
- Analyze data and prepare detailed reports from company application software.
- Confer with system users to analyze reporting needs and generate reports of a high degree of complexity and scope.
- Create and present detailed status reports suitable for internal and external audiences such as the Project Steering Committee and Executive Committee.
- Synthesize large amounts of information and identify logical business applications.
- Analyze problems and confer with programmer and/or software vendor to determine best solutions and impact.
- Serve as a liaison between technical developers and end users.
- Provide training and applications support to end users.
- Manage virtual teams.
- Provide risk and issue management and resolution.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent; or relevant combination of education and experience.
- 7 to 10 years of progressive project management experience in large organizations with a track record of delivering projects to completion using waterfall and agile methodologies.
- PMP and scrum certifications.
- Expert in Project Management Governance and best practices, tools and techniques.
- Expert knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle.
- Expert in formal requirements gathering and documentation.
- Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlooks, Access, Project) experience a must.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High level of mathematical skills.
- High attention to detail and quality.
- Action oriented with ability to work within stringent deadlines.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate appropriately with both technical experts and business experts, including business management.
- Ability to independently manage own work environment and schedule/coordinate activities and priorities of others.
- Expert organizational skills with the ability to consolidate and integrate a wide
- range of inputs.
- Construction industry project experience preferred.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Expected Base Salary: $120,000 - $135,000 per year. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
