Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Gluten Free Baker to join our bakery team. Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of gluten-free baked goods, including cakes, bread, muffins, and cookies.
- Decorate cakes and desserts using cake decorating techniques to ensure visual appeal.
- Follow recipes accurately and adjust ingredients as needed to meet quality standards.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Package baked goods securely for retail display or wholesale distribution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace throughout shifts.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and restocking supplies as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by offering product information and samples when appropriate.
Experience
- Previous experience in baking is must.
- Experience in cake decorating or restaurant food preparation is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations is essential.
- Background in the food industry or kitchen experience will be advantageous.
- Strong skills in baking, cooking, and food presentation are highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills are beneficial for engaging with customers and understanding their needs.
