The Role
The Account-Based / Field Marketing Manager is a new role at ActiveOps, responsible for running marketing programs and campaigns strategic and prospective accounts to drive pipeline and revenue in Canada. This role requires a technically proficient individual with experience in MarTech tools who has worked within a B2B software/SaaS organisation or ABM agency environment. The ideal candidate will be independent, a self-starter, and highly proactive, with the ability to work closely with sales and leadership teams. They will be data-centric, using analytics and data to own campaign performance and measurement to optimize ROI and improve lead-to-opportunity conversion.
Skills and Qualifications
- Hold a marketing degree and/or certifications
- 5 years+ marketing experience in ABM, field marketing or demand generation within B2B enterprise or SaaS organisation. Experience in an ABM agency is a plus
- Proficiency with MarTech tools including Microsoft Dynamics and HubSpot
- Knowledge of marketing strategies for Canada and industry sectors including banking and insurance
- Data-centric approach with strong analytical skills. Ability to demonstrate campaign performance and measurement to optimize ROI
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and project management skills
Responsibilities
- Account-Based Marketing – Lead 1:1 / 1:few / 1: Many programs to engage key accounts and drive pipeline, with messaging tailored to customer personas and industries.
- Event Management – Plan and execute high-impact regional events including industry sponsorships and intimate networking opportunities like Senior Leader Dinners or roundtables.
- Regional Content Development – Partner with colleagues in product marketing, sales enablement, and marketing operations to create and deliver new content to market. Contribute to a local social calendar.
Note: Travel may be required at times to the UK, America and within Canada for training or team meet-ups
