Job Summary
Dunrobin Distilleries - Retail Staff Wanted (Part time) Dunrobin Distilleries is a craft distillery located in Vankleek Hill. We are looking for an enthusiastic people-person who loves engaging with customers and enjoys creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere in our Retail Store. You will learn about our craft spirits and offer samples to our customers. Bartending experience is a plus. Duties include: - Using our point of sale system (Clover) for product sales - Stocking shelves - Engaging with customers (answering questions, offering samples, etc) - Maintaining a clean and tidy retail store Availability - weekdays and weekends Bilingual Ability to lift up to 30lbs
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Distillery Retail Clerk / Bartender to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will engage with visitors and customers, serve drinks, provide excellent customer service, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable experiences for our guests while maintaining the smooth operation of our retail and tasting room.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with product selections and tastings
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including spirits-based cocktails, following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems, cash handling, and receipt processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail area, bar station, and storage spaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently while providing exceptional service
- Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and recording sales accurately
Experience
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Ability to perform basic math for cash transactions and inventory counts
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Experience working in a retail store setting is highly preferred
