Family Navigator - Deployment
The MFRC is looking for a social service professional who is passionate about connecting people and services.
The Family Navigator - Deployment is responsible for supporting military families as they navigate the challenges experienced before, during and after military-related absences. This is accomplished by connecting with military and civilian service organizations to establish a support network, then referring families to appropriate services based on their needs.
As a point of contact for military families, this position connects families experiencing a military-related absence to ensure they receive support based on their needs. Other responsibilities include developing family resources and delivering programs such as briefings, facilitation, and information sessions.
Applicants must have a degree or diploma in human services or a related field, or a demonstrated combination of education and training with several years of experience providing human/family services frontline support.
Additional Requirements: Excellent computer skills, exceptional communication and organizational skills, must be able to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends).
