As a General Labourer, you will have the opportunity to work outdoors in the summer, work indoors in the winter, learn new skills, and collaborate with forward-thinking individuals who will support your growth in the green construction industry.
Duties include:
· Fabricate foam panels of various sizes that will be used in residential construction.
· Utilize electric power tools to sand and grind the panels, ensuring that the surfaces are smooth and finished.
· Engage in physical labour, including moving completed panels around the shop floor, so they can be processed further.
· Collaborate with the team, laying cloth onto panels while automated machinery sprays the 2-part system onto the panels, ensuring that the coating is applied uniformly.
· Maintain a positive and cooperative work environment, working effectively as part of a team, and arriving at work on time every day.
· Work a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, with the occasional weekend required when on-site assembly is necessary.
Training will be provided. Construction/Carpentry experience is an asset. Pay will vary on experience.
