Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests and staff. Prior experience in cleaning, hospitality, or custodial services is highly valued, especially hotel or industrial cleaning backgrounds. The Housekeeper will play a vital part in ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels as needed
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning equipment properly
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with guests and team members
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving objects
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; prior hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
