Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are sanitized and ready for use. Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Skills
- Experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
