Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently, and a passion for hospitality. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer needs, questions, and special requests
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support the team
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods without compromising service quality
- Support team members in maintaining a positive and efficient work environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant operations preferred; hospitality or food industry background is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are beneficial but not required
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary
