As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment within our facility. Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Maintenance: Safely install, troubleshoot, and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
- Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including identifying and replacing faulty components, bearings, gears, and other parts.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to understand equipment specifications and assembly requirements.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure the ongoing reliability of equipment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance team members, production staff, and management to address equipment-related issues and support the overall operational goals.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to and enforce safety guidelines, policies, and procedures to maintain a secure working environment. Participate in safety training and promote a safety-first culture.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements, and actively participate in initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Licensed: Must possess 442a ticket
- Installation and Maintenance: Safely install, troubleshoot, and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
- Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair equipment issues, including troubleshooting, identifying and repairing/replacing faulty components such as relays/contractors, VFDs, sensors, motors, bearings, pneumatic valves and cylinders, and other parts.
- Safety Conscious: Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols.
- Communication: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members and provide clear updates on maintenance activities.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic environment, respond to changing priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
