Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in food preparation and handling. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the head chef.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and meal presentation.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
