Job Title: Architectural Technologist 
Job Status: Permanent, Full Time

Job Description:</h2>
Main Job Duties and skill requirements of job:<ul><li>
Be familiar with the challenge of construction in the</li><li>
Experience dealing with northern weather and soil conditions on design and building</li><li>
Be familiar with aboriginal culture and dealing with aboriginal</li><li>
Provide technical assistance to professional architect in conducting research, preparing drawings, architectural models, specifications and contracts and in supervising construction</li><li>
Analyze building codes, by-laws, space requirements, site requirements and other technical documents and</li><li>
Be familiar with timeline for</li><li>
Be familiar with Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, Public buildings design, New Construction, Interior Design,</li><li>
Computer applications: Computer aided drafting, Archi CAD, Architectural software program, Architectural</li><li>
Ability to train aboriginal youth basic Auto CAD</li><li>
Own Tool/Equipment: Cellular</li><li>
Ability to Supervise: Working groups, Contractors, Staff in various areas of responsibility</li><li>
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to details</li><li>
Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel</li><li>
Education: university degree</li><li>
Experience: minimum three years</li><li>
Languages: Speak, Read and Write English</li></ul></div></div>
