Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compounder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and blending raw materials to produce high-quality compounds used in various products. This role requires mechanical aptitude, familiarity with manufacturing processes, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment efficiently. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience, assembly skills, and a strong work ethic to contribute to a dynamic production environment.
Duties
- Accurately measure and mix raw materials according to specified formulations
- Operate forklifts and power tools safely to move raw materials and finished products within the warehouse
- Use hand tools and assembly equipment to prepare compounds for further processing or packaging
- Monitor equipment during operation, perform basic troubleshooting, and report any issues to maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist in inventory management by tracking raw materials and finished goods
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience or manufacturing background preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with assembly, hand tools, and power tools is a plus
- Experience working with manufacturing or chemical compounds is beneficial but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to safety standards are essential
Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
