Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items with a focus on breakfast and lunch, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, cooking, and plating dishes
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area according to health regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and accommodating special requests
- Maintain proper food handling procedures during all stages of meal service
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, organized, and functioning properly
- Support team members in maintaining a smooth flow during busy service times
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food industry best practices
- Experience with restaurant operations, including food service and customer interaction is preferred
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food industry trends and commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences
