Trail Tire Heavy Duty
Trail Tire Heavy Duty is growing, and we are looking for a reliable, safety-focused Class 1 Driver to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and wants to be home every night. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting trucks, trailers, and equipment throughout the Edmonton region while providing exceptional customer service.
What You'll Do
- Transport customer trucks, trailers, and equipment safely and professionally
- Pick up and deliver units to and from customer locations
- Move units between customer yards, repair facilities, and inspection stations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Secure loads and equipment properly
- Maintain accurate trip records and documentation
- Represent Trail Tire Heavy Duty in a professional manner at all times
- Assist with yard organization and other duties as required
Qualifications
- Valid Alberta Class 1 Driver's Licence
- Clean driver's abstract
- Experience operating tractor-trailers and heavy equipment
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle safety regulations
- Ability to perform daily vehicle inspections and complete required paperwork
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Assets
- Heavy-haul, lowbed, or equipment transport experience
- Air brake knowledge and experience
- Forklift experience
- Mechanical aptitude or heavy-duty industry experience
