Westcore Links Inc. is a flatbed and heavy haul carrier headquartered in Nisku, Alberta, with terminals in Tillsonburg, Ontario and Houston, Texas. We operate a fleet of 50+ trucks and 70+ trailers with well-maintained equipment. Our specialty is heavy haul, over-dimensional, LTL, and full truckload freight across Canada and the United States.
We are currently hiring experienced local Class 1 drivers to support freight operations throughout Alberta and surrounding areas.

Experienced local drivers can earn $65,000–$75,000 annually depending on workload and availability.
The Work
You’ll be hauling flatbed freight locally and regionally throughout Alberta, with most runs based out of the Edmonton/Nisku area. Drivers are typically home daily or regularly throughout the week.
Day to day, you’ll be:
- Transporting flatbed freight safely and efficiently
- Loading, securing, and tarping freight to spec
- Coordinating with dispatch and logistics teams
- Completing electronic logs and required paperwork
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Representing Westcore professionally at customer sites
You’ll be assigned well-maintained equipment so you can focus on the job.
What You Need
- Valid Class 1 license with clean abstract
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Flatbed experience preferred
- Experience with load securement and tarping
- Familiarity with Flat Deck, Step Deck, and Curtain Side trailers is an asset
- Ability to operate safely in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in English (reading and writing)
- Ability to understand routing and use GPS devices
