We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Licensed Optician to join our reputable optical practice on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be a kind and dedicated individual that works well with a team, but is also an efficient self starter.
Duties include exceptional customer service through frame selection, ordering lenses, verifying glasses on arrival, fitting and servicing with adjustments and repairs. Attention to detail is a positive skill. Creativity and the desire to keep the board organized and merchandised properly is a plus.

Training & Education required:
Optician License - NAIT Optical Sciences or similar
Required Skills:
- Prior experience in optical retail
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to vision care
- Optical laboratory experience with edging equipment is desirable
- Knowledge of insurance billing processes
- Proven retail sales experience with a focus on customer service excellence
- Familiarity with My Vision Express or similar health record systems is a plus
- Experience with contact lens trainings an asset - certification is not required
Our office is located on 82 Ave near the French Quarter. French and asset but not necessary.
Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
