Position Title: Cleaner (Part-Time)
Department: Building Operations
Location: CAA Centre (7575 Kennedy Road S, Brampton)
Position Overview
As a member of our Building Operations Team, the Cleaner plays a vital role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests, team members, and staff. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all public, event, and operational areas both inside and outside the complex to meet our high standards of presentation and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain concourses, washrooms, lobby areas, and restaurant spaces
- Empty garbage and recycling bins as needed
- Restock washrooms with supplies to ensure guest comfort
- Clean restaurant windows on a weekly basis
- Sweep, mop, and sanitize all assigned areas
- Clean and restock dressing rooms during hockey tournaments and other events
- Provide washroom cleaning and maintenance throughout events for ongoing cleanliness
- Assist with general cleaning tasks in all operational and event spaces as directed
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous professional cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing or walking
Work Schedule
- Must have availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts based on event schedules
