Job Summary
Our physiotherapy clinic has a single treatment room available and we are looking for one Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our practice. Practitioners have the option to:
- Work independently – Rent the room and run your own practice. Our office administrator can assist with billing your patients.
- Join our clinic team – Become a valued employee with the clinic, receive payroll and healthcare benefits, and work alongside our integrated care team in a supportive and collaborative environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for practitioners seeking flexibility, autonomy, or the benefits of being part of a supportive clinic environment. You will receive up to 80% of your revenue as income regardless of which option you decide.
Duties
- Provide high-quality treatments tailored to individual patient needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments to create effective treatment plans.
- Utilize appropriate therapeutic techniques (massage therapy alone or in conjuction with acupuncture, depending on qualifications) for pain relief, rehabilitation, and overall wellness.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming treatment space.
- Educate patients on self-care and the benefits of regular treatments.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists and other team members for comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Active registration with College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and treatment techniques relevant to your discipline.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and continued professional development.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is an asset.
