Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
- Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing meal preparation and plating
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is required
- Knowledge of food industry standards, including meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with serving, food handling, and kitchen operations
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
