Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Crew Members to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the food industry, providing hands-on experience in food preparation, customer service, and restaurant operations. Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash transactions and processing payments efficiently.
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Making chicken skewers and lifting 35-30lbs boxes, marinate meats, etc.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of supply needs.
- Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cashiering, and POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is desirable but not mandatory; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
