Calabogie Peaks Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations in our hotel or hospitality facility. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction. This leadership role requires strong supervisory skills, attention to detail, and a background in cleaning and Hospitality services. The Housekeeping Supervisor will coordinate staff, manage schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards across all housekeeping activities.
Reporting to the General Manager, this position is key for our guests satisfaction and employee retention.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning services
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness standards
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
- Develop work schedules and assign tasks to housekeeping staff based on occupancy levels and operational needs
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as necessary
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction
- Enforce safety policies related to industrial cleaning, custodial procedures, and equipment handling
- Collaborate with management to implement improvements in cleanliness processes and service delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments; hotel experience is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, industrial cleaning practices, and hospitality standards
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills for training staff and interacting with guests or management
- Prior supervisory or managerial experience in a housekeeping or custodial setting is desirable

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
