Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dynamic team (Fri-Sun). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are properly cleaned and organized. This role is crucial in supporting the overall efficiency of our food service operations and providing a positive experience for our guests. Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
- Ensure all kitchenware is cleaned promptly to meet health and safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including handling ingredients and maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas.
- Support kitchen staff by maintaining a clean work environment and ensuring supplies are stocked.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene compliance.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain trash areas in a clean condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries in the kitchen.
Skills
- Proven experience or familiarity with cleaning procedures in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety standards.
- Ability to operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
