Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Full Time Long-Haul Propane Truck Driver to join our team to operate in Western Canada and Northern US . In this role, you will be responsible for executing propane deliveries to our internal and external customers with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely execute propane deliveries to our customers while adhering to established safety protocols and regulations.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety in all operational activities, ensuring strict compliance with standard work procedures, policies, rules, and pertinent regulations.
- Fulfill administrative duties as required, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Complete essential tasks such as the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) for delivery and promptly identifying, logging, and reporting any defects to your supervisor.
- Be able to identify and report equipment deficiencies on company vehicles and equipment while performing pre trip inspections, have a basic mechanical ability would be beneficial
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid Minimum Class 1A license with a clean drivers abstract
- Hold a minimum of 2 year of experience in commercial driving, with a preference for prior experience in propane or fuel delivery.
- Exhibit good health and physical fitness, capable of effectively fulfilling all duties and responsibilities.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer usage, particularly with onboard truck computers.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to integrity, trustworthiness, and results-oriented performance.
- Having a FAS card for US entry would be beneficial for this position
