Automotive Technician — DC Motorworks
Location: 1406 Clark Drive, Vancouver, BC V5L 3K8
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Pay: $20–35/hour, based on experience and skill level
About the Shop:
DC Motorworks is a repair shop in East Vancouver specializing in Honda, Acura, Subaru, and Tesla vehicles. We're a small, tight-knit team that takes pride in doing the job right the first time.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Performing routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tire service, inspections)
- Diagnosing and repairing a range of mechanical and electrical issues
- Performing 4-wheel alignments
- Communicating findings clearly with the team and, when needed, customers
What We're Looking For:
- A fast learner with a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in the trade
- A team player who takes ownership of their work
- Someone who is always learning and keeping up with the industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of (or current enrollment in) an automotive foundation program (e.g., BCIT, VCC)
- 2nd- or 3rd-year apprentice standing, or equivalent shop experience
- Familiarity with Honda, Acura, Subaru, or Tesla platforms is an asset, but not required
