Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Professional Countertops Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various types of countertops with precision and craftsmanship, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a strong background in construction-related tasks, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of skills including carpentry, blueprint reading, and finishing techniques.
Responsibilities
- Measure and prepare surfaces for countertop installation according to project specifications and blueprints
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and secure countertops in place
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Perform surface preparation including caulking, sealing, and leveling to ensure a smooth finish
- Install supporting structures such as cabinetry or framing as needed for countertop stability
- Apply finishing touches such as caulking, sealing, or polishing to achieve a professional appearance
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company quality standards
- Assist with restoration or renovation projects involving countertops or related surfaces
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly store tools and materials after completion of tasks
Experience
- Proven experience in countertop installation or related construction fields
- Skilled in using hand tools, caulking, welding, plumbing, flooring installation, tile laying, and carpentry techniques
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
- Experience with construction painting or restoration projects is a plus
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites and installation processes
- Prior experience working with <PERSON> or similar systems is preferred but not required
