Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assess patients’ physical, emotional, and developmental needs to develop tailored therapy plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility, coordination, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal recovery outcomes
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and strategies for ongoing improvement
- Manage case loads effectively, prioritizing urgent cases and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care to support long-term patient well-being
Skills
- Proven experience in hospital settings, with familiarity in acute care environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practice
- Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach toward diverse patient needs
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently through effective case management techniques
- Good communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients and families
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques based on individual patient conditions and progress
