Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Automotive Appointment Co-ordinator to join our dealership team. This role is essential in managing service appointments, ensuring a smooth flow of operations, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to upsell additional services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
Duties
- Schedule and confirm service appointments for customers, ensuring efficient use of service bays and technicians’ time
- Greet customers warmly and assist with check-in procedures upon arrival
- Maintain accurate records of appointments, customer information, and vehicle details
- Communicate effectively with technicians and service advisors regarding appointment status and vehicle needs
- Upsell additional services or repairs based on customer needs and vehicle condition, enhancing revenue opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately when applicable, including payments for services or deposits
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage future appointments
- Manage rescheduling or cancellations promptly to optimize scheduling efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience is a strong plus, aiding in understanding vehicle needs and communicating effectively with technicians
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle inquiries professionally
- Sales experience, particularly in upselling services or products, is advantageous
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in scheduling and recordkeeping
- Effective communication skills to liaise between customers, technicians, and management
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: $17.20-$27.79 per hour
