Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various commercial facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. The ideal candidate will have prior custodial or cleaning experience, with a focus on commercial cleaning settings. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, lobbies, hallways, and other designated areas within commercial buildings
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces to meet cleanliness standards
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces to promote health and safety protocols
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Operate cleaning equipment including buffers, extractors, and pressure washers when required
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are maintained consistently
Experience
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
