Hiring: Class 1 Driver and Machinery Operator
Who We Are
Allam Farms Partnership (AFP) is a family-owned grain farm near Edmonton, Alberta. Established in 1949, we farm over 17,000 acres across Strathcona and Thorhild counties. Our modern operation includes a newly renovated 60' x 200' heated shop near Redwater, Alberta, a fleet of current trucks and trailers, and advanced agricultural technology.
Who We Are Looking For
We’re looking for an knowledgeable and responsible Class 1 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating modern farm machinery including grain augers, Air Seeder, Combine and Spray
Key Responsibilities
✔ Operate AF11 combine, Case 555 Quad Track, 84' Vaderstad (Seed Hawk) air seeder and Horsch sprayer
✔ Troubleshoot and repair automotive electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
✔ Drive and maintain a fleet of modern trucks and trailers (Class 1 required)
Requirements
✅ Experience with heavy truck/trailer repair & maintenance
✅ Experience with farm and construction equipment repair & operation
✅ Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team
✅ Comfortable using technology (maintenance records, group chat, etc.)
✅ For long term employment: Mechanical Ability, Welding, Body Work, Painting, Torching, Cutting, Hydraulics, Electrical, Fabrication
