Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial and institutional environments. The ideal candidate will ensure that facilities are kept in pristine condition, contributing to a safe and welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals who take pride in their work. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established protocols
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and special project requirements as assigned
Skills
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
