Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history-taking and physical examinations across pediatric, adult, and senior populations
- Manage acute and chronic conditions with appropriate diagnosis, treatment plans, and medication administration
- Provide pain management strategies tailored to individual patient needs
- Perform procedures such as phlebotomy and laboratory specimen collection with precision and care
- Utilize electronic health record systems like Epic or Cerner for documentation, order entry, and case management
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and follow-up
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medication use, and preventive care strategies
- Assist with dementia care and home health services to support patients in various settings
Experience
- Proven experience working with children (pediatrics) and senior populations in clinical settings
- Prior nursing home or assisted living experience is highly desirable
- Hospital experience with acute care procedures and patient management is preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in pain management and case management across diverse healthcare environments
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration protocols, laboratory procedures, and medical office workflows
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner is essential
- Strong background in nursing practice combined with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
