The Accurate Technology Group is a leader in the industry for low voltage wiring, home automation, audio, security systems and much more! In business for over 36 years, we primarily service newly constructed homes and condominiums in Winnipeg and surrounding areas. We are seeking a dependable and skilled Low Voltage Installation Technician to join our team. Working under the direction of the Production Manager, you will be responsible for installing, programming, and servicing a variety of low-voltage systems at both finished and unfinished job sites. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety.
You will be primarily responsible for, but not limited to:
- Running various low voltage cables through unfinished and finished job sites
- Installing equipment such as security systems, CCTV, speakers, TV's, lighting systems, home automation systems, etc.
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot security and camera systems, etc.
- Complete work orders thoroughly and with a high degree of accuracy
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Follow all company processes
Requirements:
- Must be able to read, understand and execute jobs as per quote and floor plans
- Must have good reading, writing, and oral communication skills in English
- Must be able and willing to work in all types of weather
- Must be able and willing to perform physical duties; including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must be able and willing to climb a ladder; both indoor and outdoor
- Must be able to follow Manitoba Workplace Health and Safety Guidelines
- Must have experience using power tools
- Must possess a valid Manitoba Driver's License
- Must have own vehicle
- Must provide a clean Criminal Background Check
Assets:
- Experience installing and programming Control4® systems
Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Overtime as Required
