We are seeking a proactive and motivated Maintenance Technician/Mechanic for our Bowmanville, ON location.
The responsibilities include conducting preventive and routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting machinery to minimize downtime, and sourcing and stocking critical parts throughout our facility - both indoors and outdoors. The position involves collaborating with the Production Manager and team to maintain smooth daily operations in our production facility. The ideal candidate is adaptable, enthusiastic, and possesses strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
- Demonstrating a strong mechanical and problem-solving aptitude
- Taking proactive steps to document preventative maintenance (PMs)
- Identifying and resolving irregularities and malfunctions on equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure workplace safety
- Showing a willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment
- Handling installations and projects from start to completion
- Valid Drivers License and experience operating heavy equipment

Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, and VFD operations
- 1-3 years experience of handling equipment installations from start to finish on projects
- 1-2 years of welding experience
- Proficiency in electronic systems, use of computers, and various software
