Job Summary
The Senior <PERSON> is a key leadership role within our food service team, responsible for overseeing daily operations in the kitchen and dining areas. This position requires a highly experienced individual with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards. The Senior <PERSON> will ensure that all food service activities meet quality, safety, and customer satisfaction standards while mentoring junior staff and maintaining efficient workflow.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate food preparation and cooking processes to ensure timely service.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food handling, safety protocols, and meal presentation.
- Oversee food safety compliance, including proper storage, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
- Assist in menu planning and meal preparation to meet dietary requirements and customer preferences.
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed.
- Ensure adherence to health regulations and company policies at all times.
- Support training initiatives for new team members on food safety, preparation techniques, and service standards.
- Collaborate with management to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
Skills
- Extensive experience in serving, food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Proven ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation and kitchen cleanliness.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with staff and ensure smooth operations.
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, along with familiarity with various culinary techniques.
