Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure efficient supply chain management, and lead a team of warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and proficiency with various ERP and warehouse management systems. This role requires bilingual capabilities in English and French, along with a solid understanding of manufacturing, logistics, and process improvement strategies. The Warehouse Manager will play a critical role in optimizing warehouse distribution, maintaining safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including team management and supervising experience to ensure productivity and safety compliance
- Oversee inventory control, order picking, packing, and shipping processes using ERP systems such as SAP, AS400, and warehouse management systems
- Coordinate supply chain activities including purchasing, inventory replenishment, and logistics planning for 3PL providers and e-commerce fulfillment
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline warehouse operations through continuous improvement methodologies
- Utilize computer skills across platforms such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Outlook, Windows, and specialized software like ERP systems for data analysis and reporting
- Ensure accurate order processing while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Manage warehouse safety protocols including heavy lifting procedures and forklift operations to maintain a safe working environment
- Oversee packaging operations and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams for timely stock replenishment
- Lead efforts in process optimization related to warehouse distribution, order fulfillment accuracy, and overall operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics within manufacturing or distribution environments
- Strong leadership skills with supervisory experience managing teams in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, AS400, or similar warehouse management systems; familiarity with 3PL logistics is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual ability in French is highly desirable
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Outlook, Windows OS, and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of supply chain processes, purchasing procedures, order picking techniques, packaging standards, and e-commerce fulfillment strategies
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate forklifts when necessary
- Experience with process improvement initiatives focused on continuous operational enhancements
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and safety regulations related to warehousing operations

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
