Primary Responsibility
Duties
- Applying full renovation knowledge and experience to complete from start to finish all hands-on work required throughout the given renovation projects.
- Good organization skills
- Assessing onsite and providing input for regular material, labor and tool requirements.
- Overseeing and working alongside sub-contractors .
- Manage and assess risk while maintaining a safe, clean, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with regulations.
- Training, leading, and encouraging the learning of co-workers while working in a team environment
- Working in conjunction with the project manager
- Read and follow basic drawings, scope of work and timelines provided ensuring accuracy and quality workmanship in effort by all.
- Provide additional assistance where needed .

Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid license good abstract preferred
- Wide range of experience in construction and renovations for residential renovation work
- Have a good knowledge of plumbing and electrical
- Good organizational and communication skill
- Strong relationship, interpersonal and managerial skills
- Self-thinker, with ability to look several steps ahead and keep a good workflow
- Physically active and healthy person with the ability for heavy lifting and general construction site requirements
- Skilled carpenter proficient with rough framing & finish trim. Also drywall, taping, concrete, plumbing,electrical and other various renovation requirements are assets
- Detailed eye for quality
- Good understanding of applicable health and safety, and building code
- Exceptional time management to prioritize activities and allocate resources effectively
- Able to read basic plans .
