We are a well-established South Indian restaurant now open in Calgary with a full-service bar. We have a strong following and a reputation for authentic flavours, generous portions, and a welcoming dining experience.
The Role
This is primarily a bartending role — you will own the bar, craft drinks, and deliver excellent service to guests seated at the bar and throughout the restaurant. During quieter periods when the bar is not busy, you will step in to support the front-of-house team with serving tables. If you're a bartender who doesn't mind being hands-on and keeping busy throughout your shift, this role is a great fit.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
- Managing the bar area — keeping it clean, stocked, and organized
- Taking drink and food orders from bar guests
- Supporting the front-of-house team by serving tables when bar traffic is low
- Assisting with taking orders, running food, and ensuring guest satisfaction on the floor
- Handling payments and processing bills accurately
- Following all responsible alcohol service guidelines
What We're Looking For
- Bartending experience is required — you should be confident behind the bar
- A flexible, team-first attitude — willing to pitch in on the floor when needed
- Positive energy and strong guest-facing communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm during a busy service
- Valid ProServe certification (mandatory)
- Availability on evenings and weekends
