Jessco Metal Works Inc. has been providing welding and custom fabrication services since 1991. We work with a wide variety of metals including steel, stainless steel, checker plate, expanded metal, tubing, bar, pipe and more.
We are currently seeking an experienced Pipe Welder/Fitter who is also capable of performing bench welding. The successful candidate will have strong experience with MIG and TIG welding, be able to work from blueprints, and produce high-quality welds in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
- Fit, fabricate, and weld pipe assemblies according to project requirements.
- Perform both pipe welding and bench welding.
- Weld carbon steel and stainless steel using MIG and TIG processes.
- Prepare, align, and assemble components prior to welding.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the fabrication team to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Pipe Welder/Fitter.
- Extensive experience with MIG and TIG welding is required.
- Experience with both pipe fitting and bench welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Strong fabrication and layout skills.
- Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $27.00–$35.00 per hour (based on experience)
