About the Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Store Manager to lead our Hallmark retail store. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating meaningful customer experiences, leading a motivated team, and driving store success through strong leadership and operational excellence.
As Store Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of daily store operations, including sales performance, team development, merchandising, inventory management, and exceptional customer service. You'll foster a welcoming environment where customers can find the perfect products to celebrate life's special moments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and develop store associates.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience by ensuring friendly, knowledgeable, and personalized service.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, implementing strategies to meet and exceed targets.
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards in accordance with Hallmark brand guidelines.
- Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and stock control.
- Ensure accurate cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and daily store operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment.
- Address customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and loss prevention standards.
Qualifications
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sales goals and manage store performance.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Experience with inventory management and merchandising.
- Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg) and remain on your feet for extended periods.
