Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Parts Order Picking & Inventory Control Associate to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting parts for order fulfillment, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring seamless warehouse distribution operations. Your expertise in supply chain processes, data analysis, and warehouse management systems will drive efficiency and accuracy across our materials management activities. Responsibilities
Order Picking & Production Support
- Pick and stage parts accurately for manufacturing, assembly, service, and customer orders.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and locations before order fulfillment.
- Package and prepare parts for shipping, dealer orders, and customer pickups.
- Prioritize orders based on production schedules, customer requirements, and service needs.
- Work closely with Production, Purchasing, and Service departments to minimize downtime caused by parts shortages.
Inventory Control
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Label, stock, and organize inventory using established warehouse procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the company’s ERP or inventory management system.
- Perform scheduled cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate reorder requirements to Purchasing.
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged inventory for review.
Warehouse Operations
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse.
- Ensure inventory is stored in designated locations and properly identified.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and participate in safety initiatives.
- Assist with warehouse layout improvements and continuous process improvements.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S workplace organization initiatives.
- Ensure parts are handled and stored to prevent damage or deterioration.
- Recommend improvements to warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment processes.
- Maintain high standards for accuracy and productivity.
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Service, and Sales teams.
- Communicate shortages, damaged materials, and inventory concerns promptly.
- Provide excellent internal customer service by supporting production and service requirements.
- Assist in training new employees on warehouse procedures as required
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse best practices.
- Ability to read work orders, bills of materials (BOMs), and pick lists.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including inventory software and Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kg) on a regular basis.
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
- Work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
- Safely operate material handling equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, manufacturing, or agricultural equipment parts preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, or similar) is considered an asset.
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

- Order picking accuracy of 99% or greater.
- Inventory accuracy meeting or exceeding company targets.
- On-time order fulfillment for production and customer orders.
- Completion of scheduled cycle counts.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
