Sales and Shipping Coordinator
Job Duties:
- Invoicing and processing sales
- Processing returns and credits
- Coordinating domestic and international shipments (parcel, LTL) for customers, distributors and other retailers, making labels, creating proformsas, coordinating pickups.
- Customer service – answering phones and emails, engaging with walk-in customers with prompt and polite communication
- Submitting disputes with shipping carriers, organizing and tracking the status of claims and communicating with customers where applicable.
- Creating SOPs for office and shipping procedures
- Learning and assigning HS codes to products and materials for customs paperwork
- Other miscellaneous office duties including but not limited to filing, organizing, scanning, shredding.

Requirements/ Experience:
- Must be able to manage their time well and prioritize tasks properly to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Must be very well organized, detail oriented, and take initiative in fast paced environment
- Must be polite with proper grammar and communication skills on the phone and in emails
- Should have knowledge of and experience with international shipping basics: HS codes, tariff implications, duties, brokerage
- Understanding of Canada-US shipping procedures and customs
- Must be able to work with a small team collaboratively.
- Must have experience with the use of accounting software (Sage and/or Quickbooks)
Days and Hours:
Part time (3 days a week): Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with opportunity to increase based on business needs and candidate performance.
Hours: 9-4 pm with some flexibility
Rate: $23-$24
